Maille Ham Asparagus Tartine with Maille Old Style White Bean Spread
  • 6 fresh asparagus spears cut into half
  • fresh peas shoots to top and to garnish
  • 2 slice of rustic/crusty bread (sourdough), sliced approximately 1 inch thick and lightly grilled
  • 4 oz thin sliced cured ham or speck

For the white bean spread:

  • 1 15.5 oz canned white beans
  • 2 tbsp Maille Dijon Old style mustard
  1. In a food processor, combine the white beans and Maille Classic Dijon Old Style Mustard and puree until smooth.

  2. Take your slice(s) of bread and place on a grill pan or lightly toast.

  3. Take the pureed white beans and mustard and spread across the bread, top with ham and asparagus and garnish with the fresh pea shoots.
