Dutch Oven Chicken

This whole-roasted Dutch Oven Chicken is tender and moist when braised with honey mustard, cider vinegar, and lemon juice.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Combine Maille Honey Dijon mustard, cider vinegar and lemon juice in small bowl. Evenly coat chicken with mustard mixture, then season, if desired, with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange chicken in dutch oven or heavy casserole dish over medium-high heat and brown on all sides. Bake covered until chicken is thoroughly cooked, about 45 minutes.

To serve

Serve, if desired, with seasonal vegetables cooked in butter.
